National Film and Sound Archive Earrings

The National Film and Sound Archive - behind the School of Art on the Australian National University Campus - has beautiful, sweeping driveways. I was always in awe of the building itself - the 1930's architecture flanked by leafy surrounds.

I remember sitting on the stairs waiting for a lift, and watching cars stream smoothly down the driveway; sitting in the auditorium  on school excursions, and searching the collection. I saw a horrific documentary there once, on the working conditions of factory workers in China. That memory still hasn't left me - and it certainly made me more conscious of how things are made, and who by.

Brushed Sterling Silver, these earrings hang approximately 6 cm below the earlobe.
